The Morongo Valley Post Office was vandalized and mail was possibly stolen from numerous post office boxes Monday night. Postal employees noticed when they arrived at work Tuesday morning that multiple post office boxes had been pried open. Stealing mail is a federal offense, and postal inspectors are investigating the suspected mail theft. Anyone with information should call 800-275-8777.
