Members of the Morongo Valley Citizens’ Fire Committee will be on the Up-Close show tomorrow (Friday, May 27). The Community Services District has proposed a flat $350 annual per parcel fee which they say would, among other services, keep the Morongo Valley Fire Department operational at current service levels. Voters will have an opportunity to vote on the proposal, Measure “E,” which would require a 2/3 vote to pass, in the June 7th Presidential primary. Don Krouse, chair of the Citizens’ Fire Committee, and Gayl Swarat, president of the CSD board of directors, will be on the Up-Close Show tomorrow, starting at 10 a.m. to answer your questions.
