MORONGO VALLEY MAN ONE OF THE TRAMWAY’S “FIRST SNOW” GUESSING CONTEST

A Morongo Valley man was among the winners of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway’s annual snow-guessing contest. Dan Baumann was one of the first 10 people who guessed that the first inch of measurable snow at the top of the tram would fall on Wednesday, November 20; the first inch of snow was recorded at 2 p.m. Dan Baumann and the other nine winners will each receive four Tramway admissions plus a tram ornament. The contest began October 1 and 955 entries were received.
