A Morongo Valley man was arrested Thursday (September 8) on suspicion of possession of child pornography. Sheriff’s say they were notified that several files of suspected child pornography were uploaded to a social media account, and after several months and search warrants, investigators identified Brian Tate Alderson, a 24 year-old resident of Morongo Valley, as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
During the arrest, Sheriffs arrested Alderson at a residence in the 11000 block of Rosewood Ave in Morongo Valley, where they found additional evidence related to the crime. Brian Tate Alderson was booked at the Morongo jail and later transferred to the West Valley Detention Center where he is being held on $50,000 bail.
