A Morongo Valley man was arrested Wednesday, accused of stealing from Home Depot. Sheriff’s deputies say that Luis Arroyo, 28, went to Home Depot in Yucca Valley about noon on Wednesday, December 11. Employees saw Arroyo leave the store with about $1400 in unpaid merchandise. Arroyo is on felony probation for spousal abuse and burglary detectives obtained a search warrant for Arroyo’s home in the 9300 block of Green Trail. During the search, detectives found merchandise belonging to Home Depot, which was returned to the store. Luis Arroyo was arrested for investigation of commercial burglary and grand theft, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $100,000.
