A Morongo Valley man was arrested Thursday (February 18) afternoon for allegedly attempting to stab his mother. Sheriff deputies responded to the 9700 block of Lanning Lane shortly before noon after a report that Michael Pollard, 42, was disturbing the peace. When first responders arrived, they reported that Pollard had a knife and attempted to stab his mother. Michael Pollard was subsequently arrested for suspicion of assault and booked without incident in the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $50,000.
