A Morongo Valley man was arrested Sunday, accused of threatening to kill a woman. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 9300 block of Rose Eden Drive in Morongo Valley about 6:30 p.m. for a domestic disturbance. The woman told deputies that she and Benjamin Tebay, 39, were arguing when he began to physically assault her. She lost consciousness during the attack, and when she woke up, she said Tebay was pointing a gun at her and threatened to kill her. Deputies determined that the woman had major injuries to her face. Benjamin Tebay was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon, booked into West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
