MORONGO VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF FELONY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

A Morongo Valley man who’d been living with his girlfriend for two weeks, was arrested Tuesday, accused of choking her. According to a Sheriff’s report, a woman ran to the Chevron Station in Morongo Valley about 5 p.m. to ask for help. She told investigators that her boyfriend, Christopher Wilson, 39, covered her face with a pillow, gagged her with a sock and choked her. Deputies saw cuts, scratches, and bruising on her face and neck. After an investigation, Christopher Wilson was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
