At tonight’s meeting, the Morongo Valley CSD will return to discussions on a proposed mutual-aid agreement between the CSD and the city of Calimesa (40 miles away from Morongo Valley). The board will also review contractor quotes for bringing the Covington Park community kitchen up to code and review the results of the 2018 Chuck Osborne Volunteer-of-the-Year Award. Lastly, the board will set a date for the district’s upcoming public budget workshop. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. in the Covington Park Community Building, 11165 Vale Drive in Morongo Valley.
