At tonight’s regular 7 o’clock meeting of the Morongo Valley Community Services District, the board will discuss fire equipment, grants, and hold a mid-year budget review; but before all that, the Geeson Family will be presented a Lifetime Achievement Award, Donald Krouse will be presented the Citizen of the Year Award, and for his efforts in securing the grant that will pay for the new fire engine, Daniel Kitt will be presented with the Above and Beyond Award. And finally, the board will reconvene in closed session to discuss an interim General Manager to step in for the retiring Donna Munoz. Tonight’s meeting takes place in the Covington Park Community Building in Morongo Valley.
