MORONGO VALLEY CSD TO OPPOSE COMMUNICATION TOWER AT SPECIAL MEETING

The Morongo Valley Community Services District Board of Directors will hold a special meeting tonight to discuss drafting a letter or resolution opposing a proposed communications in Morongo Valley. The tower, which would be a 196’ multi-tenant wireless broadband communication tower project site, is being considered for a site north of State Highway 62 in the residential neighborhood of Paradise Heights and the Sand to Snow special recreation management area. A draft of the board’s letter says that the Bureau of Land Management did not provide the CSD with proper notice about the project. The Board will also hold a closed session to conference with legal counsel about anticipated litigation.
