At tonight’s meeting, the Morongo Valley CSD will accept a recently-awarded grant for the Morongo Valley Fire Department and authorize the purchase of new life-saving Fire Department equipment with both District and grant funds. The Board will also revisit the new driving policy for the Morongo Valley Fire Department’s Medic Engine and approve a memorandum of understanding for the sharing of grant funds between the fire departments of Morongo Valley and Yermo. The board will then adjourn to closed session to hold a public employee performance evaluation with the general manager and conference with labor negotiators. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. in the Covington Park Community Building, 11165 Vale Drive in Morongo Valley.
