At last night’s meeting, the Morongo Valley CSD board received and filed the draft of the 2018-2019 fiscal year budget, which will be discussed at future meetings. The board then continued its discussion on funds allocated for a new sprinkler system for the Covington Park ball field. Due to the lack of proper work bids and trenching issues, the board voted to move the allocated funds into a restricted fund, pending complete bids for the work. The board concluded the meeting by agreeing to purchase four above-ground irrigation sprinklers to supplement the current irrigation system.
