At last night’s meeting, the Morongo Valley CSD board approved a workshop with the district attorney on the roles and responsibilities of the board members and district staff within the CSD, the presentation date is yet to be determined. The board also approved modifications to the Morongo Valley fire department’s medic engine, began the process of researching for a new Covington Park maintenance vehicle, and discussed the recent fundraising activities of the district’s volunteer ad hoc committee. The board tabled discussions on service agreements for the interim general manager, interim assistant general manager, and deputy fire chief, stating that more research on specific job descriptions was needed.
