The Morongo Valley Community Services District Board of Directors will hold its regularly scheduled meeting today at 6 p.m., the new day and start time for the meeting. To comply with recommendations on limiting gatherings, the meeting will be held electronically via the Zoom conferencing platform. Reporter Andrew Dieleman tells us what’s on the agenda…
At tonight’s meeting, the Morongo Valley CSD Board of Directors will continue ongoing district discussions, including parameters for Morongo Valley Fire Department vehicles and possible methods of additional funding for the district, including the possibility of a Morongo Valley fire tax. The board will also hear the district’s 2018-2019 financial audit, and discuss the possibility of bringing circus performances to Morongo Valley after public meeting restrictions over coronavirus have been lifted.
Lastly, the board will adjourn to closed session to conference with labor negotiators. The meeting will be held via Zoom videoconferencing.
