At last night’s closed-session meeting, the board conferenced with legal counsel on pending litigation and held a public employee performance evaluation on district Director of Operations and Fire Chief Gary Yearsley. After the 90-minute meeting, board President Gayl Swarat reported that the board discussed a grievance against the district with their attorney. President Swarat also reported that Chief Yearsley, who had previously been authorized to only work from home, had been approved to return to full duties. The board’s next regular meeting will be held Wednesday, February 17.
