Additional action items for the Morongo Valley CSD include making the community building kitchen commercially compliant, approving the CSD’s annual audit, the hiring of a grant consultant to assist with writing and submitting park grants, the purchasing of a new slide for the Covington Park playground, and preparation for the CSD’s mid-year budget review. The board will then go into closed session to hold a public employee performance evaluation on the interim general manager, then return to open session to hear ad hoc committee reports. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. in the Covington Park Community Building, 11165 Vale Drive in Morongo Valley.
