It’s been five years since an arborist gave the more than 100 trees in Morongo Valley’s Covington Park a good going over. At tonight’s regular meeting of the CSD, directors must decide if the district should shell out an estimated $22,000 for pruning, culling, shaping and debris removal among the park’s spring-fed majestic stand.
