Tonight’s board meeting of the Morongo Valley Community Services District will include an update from CALTrans regarding the Morongo Valley median project. The board will then go into closed session to perform a public employee performance evaluation on the board’s general manager. In open session, the board will discuss new board member candidates, administrative assistance for the fire chief, and updates regarding improvements, donations, and programs in Covington Park. The board will then discuss the Covington Park tree-trimming schedule, surplus fire engine 462, and will call for nominations for the annual Chuck Osborne Volunteer of the Year award. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. in the Covington Park Community Building.
