MORONGO VALLEY CSD HOLDS SPECIAL MEETING TONIGHT TO DISCUSS LITIGATION AND ENGINE REPAIRS

The Morongo Valley Community Services District Board of Directors will be holding a special meeting tonight (February 24) to discuss possible litigation and the naming of a playground area. Reporter Jef Harmatz has a rundown of tonight’s agenda.

At tonight’s special meeting, the Board of Directors will convene in closed session to discuss anticipated litigation. The Community Services District was anticipating unspecified litigation in 2021, though at last week’s meeting, directors indicated that several outstanding employee grievances had been resolved. At tonight’s meeting, the board will also vote on whether to name a new playground area after Chuck Osborne, a former director of the Morongo Valley Community Services District. Finally, the board will discuss and possibly approve making repairs to a medic engine. Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. and will be held online, and can be attended via the link below.

To attend the meeting via Zoom, use meeting ID 840 2055 3416 and passcode 329892. The meeting can also be attended via phone at 669-900-6833.
