At last night’s brief special meeting, the Morongo Valley CSD board discussed hiring a new attorney, one who is proficient in arbitration. After brief deliberation, the board unanimously approved the hiring of a new attorney from the Liebert, Cassidy and Whitmore firm. The board ended the short meeting discussing the possibility of bringing a USDA food bank program to Morongo Valley. After short deliberation, the board unanimously approved the creation of the food bank program. The food bank’s first event is currently scheduled for Monday, May 21. Additional information will be made public as the program is established.
