MORONGO VALLEY CSD CANDIDATES, PART 2 OF 3: JENNIFER LIEBERTZ

The Morongo Valley Community Services District oversees the parks, street lights, and fire department in the unincorporated area on the west end of our Basin. On November 3, voters there must decide who among three candidates are best suited to fill two open seats on the CSD board. Assignment reporter interviewed all three candidates; today, we profile Jennifer Liebertz…

A 10-year resident of Morongo Valley, Jennifer Liebertz says she’s running for the CSD so she can make a positive contribution to her community. She went on to say, “I see some areas where there needs to be some improvement and I feel like I can be the person to help implement those changes.” And concerning the future, Liebertz says, “I’d like to see the CSD have more community involvement … so that they know exactly what the CSD board is doing for them.” Liebertz sites as her qualifications her 20 years teaching experience and the unique skill set that requires such as working with many different kinds of people. She added, “I feel like I can hear what people are concerned about and represent them to the best of my ability. … and I will be a great, positive change for the board.”
