The May 21 meeting of the Morongo Valley Community Services District Board of Directors starts at 6 p.m., at Covington Park. Following a closed session on the general manager’s evaluation, the meeting returns to open session with a presentation by Fire Chief Johnson. On the business agenda are: a request to serve alcohol at the Firefighters’ Auxiliary Casino Night; initiation of the annual audit process; presentation of the 2014-2015 Preliminary Budget for first review; a bid to reroof over the fire dorm room; and a report from the Ad Hoc Committee on the search for new legal counsel.
