The Morongo Valley Community Services District meets at 7 p.m. tonight in the Covington Park Community Building. At the top of the agenda is a presentation of the 2015/2016 audit. Directors are also expected to set a workshop date to discuss information received in connection with a takeover of fire department service there by the County or CalFire. Discussion of a lifetime achievement award recipient and drawings for nine smoke alarms will also keep things interesting. It all happens tonight in Morongo Valley.
