At tonight’s regular 7 o’clock meeting of the Morongo Valley Community Services District, the board is expected to adopt a resolution authorizing the levy and collection of the annual fire suppression assessment for the coming fiscal year. Also tonight, the board will set the date for a second budget workshop to take place in advance of a July 19 public hearing on the proposed budget. And continued from May, directors are expected to accept a bid for electrical work needed to make the community building safe for public use. Those items and others are in addition to regular reports and routine items on the consent agenda. Tonight’s meeting takes place in the community building’s multipurpose room on the edge of Covington Park in Morongo Valley.
