At tonight’s meeting, the Morongo Valley CSD will first discuss the recent submission of a state grant that, if awarded, would bring funds for much-needed renovations to Covington Park. The board will also hear an update on the progress of construction on the Covington Park kitchen, review a proposal to change the name of the Morongo Valley Youth Softball League to the Morongo Valley Sports League, discuss selling two aging Covington Park maintenance vehicles, and review a proposed district employee perk program. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. in the Covington Park community building, 11165 Vale Drive in Morongo Valley.
