In Morongo Valley, the Community Services District begins the new meeting schedule tonight with regular meetings now on the third Tuesday of the month instead of the third Wednesday. Prior to the 7 p.m. open session meeting, the board will convene in closed session beginning at 6:30 to discuss real estate negotiations. Then at 7 p.m. directors reconvene in open session for an ambitious agenda including consideration of a new contract for General Manager Donna Munoz, a discussion of recent vandalism at Covington Park and possible solutions, reading of a board letter to Caltrans regarding placement of a new traffic signal, and an update on a complaint filed by Director Karen Lowe. It all happens at the Covington Park Community Building multi-purpose room.
