At last night’s meeting, the Morongo Valley CSD held a public workshop on the final draft of the 2018-2019 fiscal year budget. Board members briefly discussed sections pertaining to staff salaries and paramedic supplies, but made no changes to the budget draft. With no comments or objections from the public, the board adjourned the workshop and unanimously approved the final draft of the budget. The board also discussed the creation of a public statement that would dispel what the board referred to as “untrue statements” regarding the CSD and its operations, but the statement must first be approved by the CSD attorney.
