The June 18 meeting of the Morongo Valley Community Services District Board of Directors starts at 7 p.m. at Covington Park. The meeting begins with a presentation by Captain Rarey. On the business agenda are: presentation of the one-year compensation package for General Manager Donna Munoz; adoption of a preliminary budget for the coming fiscal year; the Annual Fire Suppression Assessment Levy; adoption of a spending limitation, per state law; an agreement between the Morongo Valley Fire Department and CalFire for three years of dispatch services; and presentation of a review copy of the fire department’s 2013 annual report.
