The Morongo Valley Art Colony will hold the ribbon cutting and grand opening of its new gift shop and gallery Saturday, February 1, in the Morongo Valley Community Center in Covington Park. The gift shop will feature all original art created by its members, including books, gifts, cards, crafts, photography, mugs, T-shirts, and more. When you buy from the gift shop, you are supporting local artists. The gift shop and gallery will be open Saturdays and Wednesdays from 8 to 4:30. For more information, call 760-363-7937.
