It was 1964, a first-class stamp was a nickel, a gallon of regular gas was 30 cents, and the Art Colony of Morongo Valley was formed. Tomorrow the Art Colony celebrates 52 years of promoting all art forms and encouraging the work of new and experienced artists of all ages. Everyone is invited to browse the vendors, enjoy live music, and sample the free appetizers at tomorrow’s celebration from noon to 3 p.m. in the Covington Park Community Center in Morongo Valley.
