During an early 5:30 pm open session, the MUSD Board of Education will have two workshops—one on the second interim financial report, which the Board will later certify during its regular session, and the other on Advanced Placement. In the regular 7 p.m. open session, Jeff Cummings, Interim Superintendent/President of Copper Mountain College, will introduce himself to the Board. In its action agenda, the Board will authorize advertising for bids on maintenance projects at several sites, involving pavement, flooring, and roofing. A course outline for an English Honors course will again be presented for consideration. The Board will also consider five policies or bylaws, including attorneys, complaint procedures, self-evaluation. The Board meets at Joshua Tree Elementary School.
