The community is invited to attend this evening’s public hearings concerning the budgets for the 2013-2014 school year. The first will be the proposed budget for Morongo Unified School District; the second hearing is on the proposed budget for SELPA, or Special Education Local Plan Area; and the final hearing will be concerning the annual service plan for SELPA. An open session will occur from 6:20-6:25 p.m., allowing the audience to offer any comments. After a closed session with the board, the meeting will reconvene at 7 p.m. for the hearings. The meeting will take place at Friendly Hills Elementary.
