The Morongo Unified School District board of directors will hold a work study session beginning at 5 p.m. to review a district bond. The board will then adjourn to closed session to hold a conference with designated bargaining representatives. In open session, beginning at 7 p.m., the board will review and approve the advisor agreement for the district bond, discuss declaring May 9 as “Day of the Teacher” for the district, discuss renaming the Twentynine Palms Junior High School computer lab as the “Ron Palmer Computer Lab,” and will recognize outstanding students of the year from Regional Occupational Programs. The meeting will be held at Joshua Tree Elementary School, located at 4950 Sunburst Avenue in Joshua Tree.
