The Morongo Unified School District has released their second video update on the school district’s progress towards reopening. Reporter Andrew Dieleman has the details…

Principals of Joshua Tree Elementary, Yucca Mesa Elementary, Twentynine Palms Junior High, and La Contenta Middle Schools delivering presentations on student achievement plans to the Board.

In the new video released by MUSD, Superintendent Tom Baumgarten provides more updates on the school district’s progress towards reopening for the upcoming school year, including more information on the distribution of electronic devices to students for distance learning. Other topics include, plans for special education programs, communication between individual school sites and parents of students, and plans for social distancing for when school sites eventually reopen.
