The MUSD Board of Trustees will meet in closed session, beginning at 5 p.m., to review employee disciplines and dismissals. The board will then hold a work study session, beginning at 5:10 p.m., to compare the district’s 2017-2018 budget estimates to actual expenses, review the hiring process for district coaches, and continue its review of student achievement plans. In open session, beginning at 7 p.m., the board will hear a presentation on an upcoming school bond, Measure O, on the ballot for the November election and confirm the use of the old Joshua Tree Elementary School building for non-school purposes. The meeting will be held at Joshua Tree Elementary School, 4950 Sunburst Avenue in Joshua Tree.
