MORONGO UNIFIED LIFTS MASKS REQUIREMENTS TODAY

On February 28, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) issued updated guidance regarding masks in the K-12 school setting. In this guidance, CDPH removed the requirement for all students, parents/guardians, and school employees to wear masks in the K-12 setting after March 11.

Now effective, masks will no longer be required in Morongo Unified School District schools. This guidance applies to all district sites including school buses. Although not required, CDPH strongly recommends individuals continue to wear a mask while indoors in a K-12 setting.

Masks and other PPE will continue to be available at all district sites, including school buses, for those who prefer to wear a mask indoors. All other COVID protocols recommended by CDPH will continue to remain in place until further notice.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your school office.
