MORONGO SHERIFF’S STATIONS WELCOMES NEW FACES, SAYS GOODBYE TO OTHERS

The Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station will be saying hello to some new faces, and saying goodbye to others. Detective Cory Emon was promoted to sergeant earlier this week, and will be leaving to work in one of the jails. Detective Marcel Silva and Deputy Brandon Abell are transferring to different stations. The Morongo Basin station welcomes five new members: Sergeant Mauricio Hurtado, Detectives Christopher Bertetto and John Scalise, and two deputies, M. Dominick and A. Stumbo.
