For the second time this year, the Morongo Basin Transit Authority has marked 100 days without a collision or injury. As of Thursday, November 12, MBTA operators and maintenance employees have not been involved in a preventable collision, nor has there been any injury that could have been prevented. In August, the MBTA reached 198 days without an incident. General manager Mark Goodale said, “This is a great accomplishment for the organization… This gives all who have daily interactions with us, whether on the bus or on the road, the confidence that safety is our number one priority.”
