Morongo Basin Sexual Assault Services is changing its name. For 17 years the organization has offered free, confidential counseling to Morongo Basin residents who are victims of sexual assault. As of April 1, its new name will be Partners Against Violence to reflect its collaboration with the Morongo Basin community to prevent violence.
Partners Against Violence will host a state-certified volunteer training course to become a sexual assault hotline volunteer advocate. This multi-week course begins in mid-May. Applicants apply for the training course by April 30.
