MORONGO BASIN SEARCH AND RESCUE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

The Morongo Basin volunteer Search and Rescue team is looking for individuals who are interested in joining their team and serving the community. The SAR team is a 40-plus team who are responsible for covering 5200 square miles within the Morongo Basin, the Mojave Desert, and other areas in southern California. Members of the SAR team are highly trained, citizen volunteers who give their time to rescuing lost people and searching for evidence that is related to criminal activity. The SAR team comes together for general meetings on the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. on the first floor of the new Legal Complex at 63665 Twentynine Palms Highway, any member of the public is welcome to attend.
