Tonight’s Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council will begin with public safety and community service reports from local fire, law enforcement and resource agencies. Next, Joe Ruddon, director of Business Development for the Morongo Basin Health District, will present on the Mobile Medical Unit and the LIFT Transportation Program. The presentation will also include a tour of the Unit. Gayl Swarat will present on Resolution MB-MAC020, which was revised for possible adoption, to proclaim the Morongo Basin a Hate-Free Zone. The meeting will be held tonight at 5:30 pm at the Joshua Tree Community Center, 6171 Sunburst Ave in Joshua Tree. Please note there will NOT be a MAC meeting in November in observance of Veteran’s Day.
