Tonight, the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council will begin their meeting with a swearing in of new board member, Michel Cicero, representing Landers. The agenda will include safety reports from local fire agencies, law enforcement and homeless support sources.
Jennifer Kusack from Southern California Edison will present regarding SCE Wildfire Mitigation Efforts. Jennifer Kane will then present before the council from National Endowment for the Arts Big Read Morongo Basin. The evening concludes with regional reports from Pioneertown, Yucca Mesa, Landers, Joshua Tree, Flamingo Heights, Desert Heights, Wonder Valley, Morongo Valley, and Copper Mountain Mesa.
The meeting starts at 5:30 pm at the Joshua Tree Community Center, 6171 Sunburst Ave in Joshua Tree.
