Tonight, members of the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) will gather online to discuss issues facing unincorporated communities of the Morongo Basin. The meeting will feature safety reports from local fire and law enforcement.
MAC members will discuss the possibility of returning to in-person meetings going forward while considering safety around COVID-19 and the ease of attending online. In addition to the Chairman’s Report, the meeting will include community updates from each represented area: Landers, Joshua Tree, Desert Heights, Wonder Valley, Morongo Valley, Copper Mountain Mesa, Johnson Valley, Pioneertown, and Yucca Mesa.
