The Morongo Basin MAC meeting for April 13 features reorganization and three informational presentations. Reporter Dan Stork tells what’s afoot…
The first order of business at the April 13 meeting of the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council will be the election a new chair and vice-chair. Then there will be three informational presentations:
- California Highway Patrol officer Joan Griffin will talk about the Teen Driving Program;
- Steve Martinez, from the County Transportation Department, will present information on a bike trail opportunity in the Joshua Tree area;
- and Pat Flanagan will do a Power Point presentation on the recently released BLM West Mojave Plan.
The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Joshua Tree Community Center on Sunburst Avenue.
