The Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council has a committee compiling a list of Basic Regional and Community Enhancements (or BRACE, for short). The committee will meet on Wednesday, February 26 at 9 a.m. in the Joshua Tree Community Center to review, discuss, and adjust the initial list. The initial list includes concerns about homelessness, affordable housing, planning notifications, unemployment and underemployment, encouragement of local industry and tourism, the impact of development on localities, emergency response capabilities, and appropriateness of certain county regulations. The public is invited to attend and contribute to the discussion.
