Tonight, the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council will kick off this new decade with a closer look at water. Tom McCarthy of the Mojave Water Agency will present “Water and the Morongo Basin: Past, Present and Future.” The 20-minute presentation will focus on this crucial resource and how we can protect it.
The agenda also includes the usual public safety and community service updates from fire departments and law enforcement, plus reports from each regional representative of the Council.
Tonight’s meeting will be held at the Joshua Tree Community Center at 6171 Sunburst Ave and begins at 5:30 p.m.
