The Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council will begin its monthly meeting tonight by welcoming a new member representing Pioneertown. She is Michelle Myers, a licensed attorney appointed to the seat by the County Board of Supervisors last month. Later, the Council will hold its annual election for chairperson, vice chairperson and secretary. The meeting begins 6:30 p.m. at the Joshua Tree Community Center on Sunburst Avenue.
