In addition to public safety and member reports, the May 11 agenda of the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council features a single action item. The MAC will consider whether to oppose one alternative of the recently-issued West Mojave Route Network Project of the Bureau of Land Management. The suggested resolution says that the alternative is “detrimental for individuals and communities, the rural county road system, and the environment within the jurisdiction of San Bernardino County.” The meeting starts at 6:30 at the Joshua Tree Community Center, 6171 Sunburst.
