Two local high school students were selected to receive scholarship from the Gladys Carol Scholarship program. Trinity Mecham from Yucca Valley High School, and Micah Pollnow from Twentynine Palms High School will each receive a $500 cash award. Mecham plans to attending the University of California – Davis, and Pollnow has been accepted to the Milwaukee School of Engineering. The Gladys Carol Scholarship offers up to $5000 for two years of study in science, technology, engineering, or math.
